Privacy Policy
Your data, your privacy – how we collect, use, and protect your information
Proposed effective date: September 30, 2026
Unbound Enterprises LLC, doing business as UNBOUND-IT (“UNBOUND-IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our website, business communications, and services. It also explains how contractors, affiliates, and other third parties may handle information under their own privacy policies.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers information we handle for our own business purposes, including inquiries, client relationships, billing, support, and website operations. “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. Financial information and confidential business records may also require special protection, even when they are not legally classified as personal information.
When we process information on a client’s behalf, such as customer records within a client’s website or business systems, our processing is governed by the applicable service agreement, data processing terms, lawful client instructions, and applicable law. The client’s privacy notice explains its own collection and use of that information. This policy does not replace those obligations or authorize uses prohibited by an applicable agreement or law.
2. Information we collect
The information involved depends on your interactions with us and the services requested. We may collect or receive:
- Contact and business information. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, company names, job titles, and information submitted through forms, proposals, or other communications.
- Account and service information. Account identifiers, support requests, project materials, files, configuration details, and information made available through authorized access to client systems or connected platforms.
- Financial and transaction information. Billing contacts and addresses, invoices, payment amounts, transaction identifiers, payment status, and payment-related details provided by you or a payment provider. Card or bank account details entered into a third-party payment service may be collected directly by that provider.
- Technical and usage information. IP addresses, device and browser information, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, cookies, referral sources, pages visited, and interactions with our website or communications.
- Communications and client-provided records. Messages, attachments, correspondence, and customer or prospect information supplied for a project. Where a requested service includes recorded calls, transcripts, or automated chat, those records may also be processed, subject to required notices and consent.
3. How we collect and use information
We receive information directly from you, automatically through website technologies, and from clients or authorized third parties such as payment processors, integrated platforms, and referral partners. We use information as appropriate to:
- Provide, administer, maintain, and improve our services; manage projects and authorized integrations; and respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Prepare proposals and agreements, manage accounts, issue invoices, process payments, and maintain business records.
- Operate and improve our website, understand usage, and personalize relevant content.
- Send service notices and, with consent where required, newsletters, offers, and other marketing communications.
- Protect systems and information, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
We limit collection and use to information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose. Where consent is legally required, we obtain it before the covered processing. This policy itself does not constitute consent to unrelated processing or sensitive-data uses.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality and understand website use. Depending on the features enabled, analytics tools, embedded content, or advertising technologies may also collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, and interactions. Their providers may associate that information with information they already hold, subject to their roles, agreements, settings, and privacy policies.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any preference controls provided on our website. Blocking certain cookies may affect functionality. Where applicable law requires consent for particular tracking, we obtain consent before enabling it. Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we honor qualifying signals for the processing covered by that law. Browser controls may not affect every form of tracking or collection within a third-party service.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising more broadly; certain advertising or tracking disclosures may fall within those definitions even without monetary payment. Any such activities must be disclosed as required by applicable law and remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Contractors and service providers. We may disclose contact, account, project, technical, communications, and necessary billing information to contractors, subcontractors, consultants, hosting providers, software vendors, payment processors, and other providers to perform the services they support.
Affiliates and business partners. If relevant to your services, information may be shared with affiliated entities under common ownership or control for administration, support, or service delivery. Independent referral or business partners may receive relevant contact or project information to fulfill your request or with your consent where required. An affiliation does not authorize unrestricted use of your information.
Other recipients. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers; to authorities when legally required; to address fraud, security threats, or legal claims; and in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal protections. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.
6. Contractors affiliates and third party privacy policies
Our services may involve independent contractors, subcontractors, affiliates, software platforms, payment providers, financial institutions, and other third-party companies. These companies may have their own privacy policies, data processing terms, security practices, and retention rules. Depending on the service and the company’s role, those policies and terms may affect how your financial information, personal or private information, confidential business records, and activity data are collected, accessed, used, stored, transferred, disclosed, or deleted.
Providers acting on our behalf. When a contractor or other provider processes personal information solely for UNBOUND-IT, its access and use are limited to the authorized service purpose and applicable contractual and legal requirements. We require appropriate confidentiality, security, and data processing protections for that role. A provider’s separate privacy policy does not give it permission to disregard those restrictions or use client information for unrelated purposes.
Companies acting independently. When a third party determines its own purposes for handling information, its privacy policy governs that independent processing, subject to applicable law. This may occur when you open an account with that company, submit information directly to its platform, authorize an integration, use its payment service, or engage it separately. A company may act on our behalf for some activities and independently for others.
Potential effects on important information. Third-party policies may address payment and identity verification, fraud screening, automatic data collection, analytics, profiling, product improvement, disclosures to other providers, international transfers, security measures, and retention after an account or service ends. Their terms, legal duties, and your account settings may result in practices or retention periods that differ from ours. These examples describe possible policy differences, not permission for unrestricted processing.
Contractor-controlled platforms and reporting. Some services may operate through accounts or platforms controlled by contractors, affiliates, or other providers. Those providers may restrict direct login, dashboard, administrative, or backend access to protect confidential financial information, other clients’ data, or proprietary systems. Client-specific information, including campaign performance and advertising spend, may instead be provided through reports, subject to the service agreement and applicable requirements. Contact UNBOUND-IT to request available reports. These restrictions do not override applicable law, platform requirements, or contractual reporting and access obligations, and do not authorize withholding information that must be provided.
Reviewing policies and exercising choices. Before submitting sensitive information or enabling a third-party service, review the company’s current privacy policy and relevant account or integration settings. Contact us if you need help identifying a provider involved in your UNBOUND-IT services or locating its privacy policy. Questions or rights requests concerning a company’s independent processing should also be directed to that company.
Our responsibilities. We do not control every independent third party’s privacy practices and cannot guarantee its performance or security. However, using a third party does not eliminate UNBOUND-IT’s own duties under applicable law or our agreements. Nothing in this policy waives your statutory rights or excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Payments and sensitive information
Third-party payment services may collect and process card details, bank account information, billing information, and verification records to complete transactions and meet their own fraud prevention or legal obligations. Information available to UNBOUND-IT depends on the payment method and integration and may include transaction records and limited payment-method details. Review the payment provider’s privacy policy before submitting financial information.
Do not send full payment card numbers, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, health information, or other highly sensitive records through ordinary email or general contact forms. If a service requires sensitive information, contact us to arrange an appropriate method and any required contractual protections. We process legally defined sensitive personal data only as permitted by applicable law, including obtaining consent where required.
8. Connected services and automated tools
At a client’s request, services may connect websites, customer relationship management systems, messaging channels, analytics platforms, or automation and artificial intelligence tools. Information transferred through these connections depends on the approved workflow, permissions, and settings and may include contact details, messages, files, prompts, responses, and service records.
The relevant provider’s terms and privacy policy may address retention, human review, or use of content to improve its services or models. The existence of such terms does not, by itself, authorize UNBOUND-IT to send information for those purposes. Any processing we initiate must remain consistent with applicable permissions, our agreements, this policy, and the law. Ask us about a proposed integration before placing sensitive or confidential information into it.
Disconnecting an integration may stop future transfers but does not necessarily remove information already received by another provider. Retention and deletion of those copies depend on the provider’s role, applicable agreements, legal obligations, and available privacy rights.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. Access should be limited to personnel and providers who need it for authorized responsibilities. Security measures are designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure; no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
You should use strong passwords, enable multifactor authentication where available, protect account credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized activity. If a security incident triggers a notification obligation, we will provide notices required by applicable law and our agreements. This policy does not replace any specific security commitments in a signed service agreement.
10. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, account administration, recordkeeping, legal compliance, security, and dispute resolution. Retention depends on the information’s sensitivity, the service relationship, contractual requirements, and applicable legal periods.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or otherwise dispose of it appropriately, subject to lawful retention exceptions. Copies in backups may remain until scheduled deletion or replacement, with protections maintained in the meantime. Independent third parties may retain their own records under their policies and legal obligations. Ending a service or requesting deletion from UNBOUND-IT does not automatically delete records independently maintained by those companies.
11. International access and processing
UNBOUND-IT operates in the United States. Depending on the services used, our contractors, subcontractors, affiliates, or other providers may access or process information from other countries. This may include remote support or development work, even when the primary hosting location remains in the United States.
Privacy laws in other countries may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use applicable transfer safeguards and contractual protections. This notice does not substitute for any consent or other transfer mechanism required by law. Contact us before providing data subject to geographic restrictions or specialized regulatory requirements so those needs can be addressed in the service agreement.
12. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location, the information involved, and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a portable copy of personal information; correct or delete it; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of covered sales, targeted advertising, or certain consequential profiling. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Submit a request by emailing info@unbound-it.com or calling 210-973-4901. Describe your request and your relationship with us. We may verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority using information reasonably necessary for verification. Do not include sensitive account credentials in your request. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful denial or extension.
To appeal a denied request, email info@unbound-it.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal” or call the number above. Identify the request and explain why you are appealing. We will review the decision and respond within the applicable legal period. You may also complain to the relevant regulator; Texas residents may contact the Texas Attorney General through texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection.
For information controlled by one of our clients, contact that client first. We will assist with requests as required by our role, the service agreement, and applicable law. For a third party’s independent processing, use that company’s privacy request procedures. We remain responsible for requests concerning information within our own responsibility.
Marketing choices. Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or contact us. For text messaging programs that support it, reply STOP to opt out. Withdrawing marketing permission does not stop necessary transactional or service notices. Marketing consent, including text-message opt-in information, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing; providers may receive it as needed to administer communications on our behalf.
Consent and service choices. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it prospectively. Some information is necessary to provide a requested service; declining or deleting it may limit that service. Withdrawal does not invalidate lawful processing already completed.
13. Third party links and embedded content
Our website and communications may link to, embed, or provide access to third-party websites, social media, forms, videos, or other services. Those providers may collect information when you interact with their content or, depending on the technology and applicable consent requirements, when the content loads. Review their privacy notices. A link or referral does not make UNBOUND-IT responsible for every independent practice of that company; our own legal and contractual duties continue to apply.
14. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our own website or direct marketing. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required. Client projects involving children’s information require separate review and any legally required safeguards and consent.
15. Changes and contact information
We may update this policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. An update does not retroactively authorize uses requiring separate consent.
